Bootlegger Bike

The Bootlegger Bike by Zach Yendra of yendrabuilt.com The DEATH RIDE Tour worked with Zach for the 2016 event to put ALS patient Michael Cimbura into this bike to participate in DRT 7.

For the second year in a row Michael Cimbura along with trusted pilot Zach Yendra and the “Bootlegger” rode the DEATH RIDE Tour – 235 miles. This year Mike’s seat was specially formed for him by Ride Designs of Littleton, CO. Zach also built a special wind shield to help keep Mike comfortable. To our knowledge, no other ALS patient on life support has ever done anything like this. Look for Mike, Zach and Team Cimbura on their Trans America Bike Ride in the summer of 2018.

Cycling Group

Highlight of the 2016 event was getting Mike on a Bike and participating in the DRT 7. We want to thank Zach & Carl Yendra for all their hard work to make this happen along with Brian Richard and all the other support.
