Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze in Aurora, CO
Death Ride Tour, Inc., Charity Cycling Events, based in Aurora, CO, is proud to work with the ALS charity Blazeman Foundation, WAR on ALS, to host the Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze. Cyclists interested in joining us for this fun, charitable event are required to raise a minimum of $300 in contributions by the first day of the tour. The Fall Blaze Tour Course
What is the Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze? It is a 223-mile course with an elevation gain of about 15,800 feet. This very challenging bike tour takes riders over Mount Greylock, which is the highest natural point in MA. Cyclists are expected to beat this course over a three day ride. It is important that all participants are properly trained before attempting to challenge this course. Furthermore, we request that all cyclists have their bikes serviced before the tour begins at their local bike shop.
What to Expect As a Participant
As a participant of the Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze, you will be provided with complete SAG support and aid stations, including luggage transfers, throughout the tour. All lodging is the responsibility of the participant. However, our organization has setup a number group rate options for lodging in Northampton, Brattleboro, and Williamstown. We recommend that you book your hotel rooms as soon as possible to ensure availability.
Finally, all participants will receive their 2017 Death Ride Tour Fall Blaze rider package at rider check-in. You must show up for the event in order to receive your package, which includes your jersey, t-shirt, hat, and complete tour information. To ensure you receive a jersey at rider check-in, you must be registered by July 1st, 2017. Participants who register after July 1st will receive their jerseys after the event, sometime before January 1st, 2018.
